Cho La Pass Trek is the most arresting way in Everest region. This popular trek among trekkers from the entire world will pass through arresting Sherpa communities enjoying a range of vegetation from pine, hemlock woods at lower elevations; fir, birch, juniper, rhododendron forests at the median elevations; plus scrub as well as alpine plant at lofty region.

Eye catching views of highest peaks like Cho Oyu (8,153m), Everest (8,848m), Gyachung Kang (7,922m), Makalu, Lotse (8,510m) etc will completely captivate you during the trek. You will pass through the centre of the region Namche Bazaar (3440m) and go by Khumjung valley, Dole, Machhermo, Gokyo, and Gokyo Ri crossing Cho La Pass located at an elevation of 5330m. As a final point the trek reaches Everest Base Camp passing through Dzongla (4830m), and then Gorakh Shep. The breathtaking near sight of mighty Everest (8,848m) from Kalapatthar (Black Rock) is the unbelievable view spot.

The area of Gokyo (4,750m) is positioned on the shore of the lake in a sequence of small turquoise mountain lakes. Also, the walk will let us observe fabulous mountain panorama of peaks having height above 6000m which are noticeable from Gokyo Ri (5,483m) higher than Gokyo Lake and you will also observe the Ngozumpa Glacier- the largest glacier in Nepal. Besides the astonishing views of ice edged flanked by Cho Oyu as well as Gyachung in Khumbu area is another appeal of the trek.

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu/ pick up and transfer to hotel/ introduction to staff and briefing/ overnight at hotel.

Day 2

Guided tour to Kathmandu’s historical and spiritual attractions taking in many of the important valley sites/ overnight hotel.

Day 3

Transfer to airport/ fly to Lukla-2840m/ about 40min flights/ proceed trek to Phakding 2610m/ approx 3-4hrs/ overnight guesthouse.

Day 4

Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440m/ approx 5-6 hrs/ overnight guest house.

Day 5

Namche Bazaar Acclimatization day/ exploration around/ overnight guest house.

Day 6

Trek to Phortse Tenga 3,680m/ approx 5 hrs/ overnight guesthouse.

Day 7

Trek to Machhermo 4,470m/ approx 5-6hrs/ overnight guesthouse.

Day 8

Trek to Gokyo 4,790m/ approx 4-5 hrs/ overnight guesthouse.

Day 9

Hike up to Gokyo Ri 5,360m early in the morning/ stunning vies/ back to Gokyo/ approx 4 hrs/ overnight guesthouse.

Day 10

Trek to Cho La Phedi 4,500m/ approx 4-5 hrs/ overnight guest house.

Day 11

Trek to Cho La pass 53300m/ trek on to Dzongla 4830m/ approx 6-7 hrs/ overnight guesthouse.

Day 12

Trek to Lobuche 4910m/ approx 5 hrs/ overnight guesthouse.

Day 13

Trek to Everest Base Camp 5365m/ back to Gorakh shep/ approx 8hrs/ overnight guest house.

Day 14

Hike up to Kalapatthar 5545m early in the morning/ amazing view of the world’s tallest mountains/ trek down to Priche 4240m/ approx 7hrs/ overnight guest house.

Day 15

Trek to Namche Bazaar/ approx 6hrs/ overnight guest house.

Day 16

Trek to Lukla/ approx 6hrs/ overnight guest house.

Day 17

Fly back to Kathmandu in the morning/ transfer to hotel/ overnight hotel.

Day 18

Leisure day in Kathmandu/ shopping relaxation etc/ overnight hotel.

Day 19

Transfer to airport/ fly onward destination.
